A Broadway-style play of Biblical proportions!

Shushan! the Musical fleshes out the world of the Book of Esther and the characters who dwell in ancient Persia. The Israelites live as migrant refugees and second-class citizens, desperate to improve their lot. When the opportunity arises to marry the emperor of Persia, it's up to Hadassah the Israelite to hide her true identity and strive to elevate her people. But the king's chamberlain Haman has his own plans, and sees these Israelites as the perfect scapegoats for his own political advancement.

Shushan! is a musical comedy with rich personalities and humor for all ages to enjoy, layered with social justice themes for sophisticated audiences. It contains original Broadway-style songs with Middle Eastern instrumentation as a celebration of Mizrahi/Arab culture. Rated PG for content around flirtation and war.
